They went above and beyond to make certain my online order was understood by phoning me to gather more detailed information to ensure I received the correct part for my specific older (1988) outboard. This is the kind of customer service I thought was lost with online orders these days So hats off to the guys at Kansas City US Boatworks.

I was very happy to discover a local store with great knowledge, inventory and fair prices! While restoring a 1982 Mercury motor, I was shocked and ecstatic to discover they had the parts I needed in stock!

Helping Customers

Our shop techs bend over backwards to help customers buy boat engines online and in our store. This week a customer who had his boat in our shop for service needed a picture of his dashboard so he could pick out a stereo for is boat. We were happy to take a picture of the dash and email it to him so he could get started on his stereo purchase. Here is what he had to say:

“Thanks a bunch for the picture, it helped the stereo guy very much. I was just going to check and see if the boat would be ready to pick up sometime tomorrow so I can have my stereo installed on Friday. Please let me know if I’ll be able to pick up tomorrow and what the bill is.
